Ukraine needs our focus right now. Putin is committing genocide - on all Ukrainian people no matter their ethnicity. He's erasing the country, eliminating thousands of years of history and thumbing his nose at the West. The seeds of WWIII are being sown here and that harvest may very well mean the end of the world, the end of the human race, the destruction of the earth. It's that serious. While I am especially appalled and horrified at the treatment of black and brown people there, I am also appalled and horrified by the treatment of all Ukrainians by the Russians. I am terrified that none of us are safe. Putin is not mad. He's ruthless in his pursuit of power. While we are working to save all the Ukrainian people we can we must also ruthlessly pursue Putin and help whomever we can to eliminate the threat he poses. When we have peace again then we can ensure that it is everyone who benefits from that peace not just the few with less melanin in their skin.
