There is only one good thing about the Kents of this world - they are the push that comes to shove... and I am right out the door. I am so sorry that you suffer from PTSD as a result of your time in church. After my experience as a seven year old I was less traumatized and more skeptical about churches in general and finally, after many more years of seeking spirituality, accepting of our place as well-meaning, good and for the most part, right acting humans.
