Oh, Shuhada' Sadaquat. I remember the face, so beautiful, so arresting, and then that pain-filled, verge-of-tears voice that just ripped up your heart. When I read of her death this morning I wasn't expecting to then find a Medium piece that paid her such lovely tribute. She was my voice for those times when nothing I could say would compare to the ache she could invoke and then somehow soothe. Rest in peace, my lovely. You are and will be missed.
