My mother hated the show. She thought Roseanne was crass and refused to watch it. But I enjoyed the 'un-perfectness' of it. Then it changed too much, Roseanne changed and a part of me became ashamed that I had liked it. But it takes all kinds. Sometimes you need a representation of all you wouldn't be to push against.
