I stopped taking NSAIDs a long, long time ago. One of the side effects I'd experienced was a loss of hair. I'd put it down to female pattern baldness and chalked it up to 'just getting older'. Imagine my surprise to see my hair growing back after about two years of abstinence! I also drink turmeric tea regularly which helps ease my arthritis and take organic vitamins so it's hard to pinpoint which thing actually triggered the hair renewal. But I'll take it, regardless! However, I have since found a number of (scientific) articles that cite the hair-loss symptom of inflamation and remark that the taking of NSAIDs actually makes it worse over time! It seems that the thing used to reduce inflamation in our bodies has a vicious feedback loop. In any case, I'd suggest that people think about what they are willing to sacrifice to use NSAIDs. For me, my hair is too much to ask!
